Uganda
Uganda is one of Africa’s most rapidly growing organic certified lands, and has a favorable climate for growing several premium crops including soybeans, sesame, cocoa, vanilla, cotton, and bird’s eye chilli. Agri Exim identified this high potential for organic & natural production in the country early on, and has since extended comprehensive help and support to local farmers to make organic farming their major source of livelihood. A combination of traditional farming methods and training programs on organic farming – soil preparation, harvesting and handling – have enabled farmers to meet organic standards while also increasing the quality and quantity of their produce.
